Milestone videos

You explain it once. It reassures every client after that.

Short films attached to the stages of a conveyance. When a stage is ticked on a file, the buyer and the seller each receive their own version — in your face, your voice and your branding — explaining what just happened and what comes next.

What the client gets

A film, not a paragraph of legal shorthand.

The email links to a watch page carrying your branding. Under the film sits a short note you write once per stage, and a link straight into their portal.

Every film stays available in the portal against its stage, so a client can go back and watch it again the week before completion.

How it works

1

Film it once

A short piece to camera for each stage — what has just happened, what it means, what comes next. Record them in an afternoon and they serve every sale you ever run.

2

Two cuts per stage

One for the buyer, one for the seller. The same step means different things to each side, so each gets their own film.

3

It sends itself

Tick the stage on the file and each side is emailed their own video. They can replay it in the portal whenever they like.

4

Stages without a film stay quiet

No video attached means nothing sends. Start with the two or three stages that generate the most calls and add the rest when you have time.

Your side of it

Upload it, and forget about it.

Each stage holds a buyer film, a seller film, an optional thumbnail and a short note. Preview either side exactly as the client will see it before you turn it on.

MP4 upload, YouTube or Vimeo — whichever you already use. Nothing is sent until you have marked the stage complete.

Where to start

Four films that do most of the work.

Searches ordered

Explains what searches are and why they take weeks — the single most common source of "is anything happening?"

Enquiries raised

The longest stage on most files. A film here buys you a fortnight of patience.

Contracts exchanged

The moment everything becomes real. Tell them what happens between exchange and moving day.

Completion

A thank-you rather than an explanation. This is the one people forward to their family.

Record four. Reassure every client.

I will show you the four I filmed first, and what changed when they started going out.
